John Elliott Churchville - Power Politics, an oral history series organized by Scribe Video Center, showcases the voices and strategies of organizers, activists, and leaders from Black, Puerto Rican, Asian American, and other marginalized communities. These interviews, conducted by high school and college students trained in oral history and documentary techniques, highlight the resilience and ingenuity of historically disenfranchised communities striving for political empowerment.
John Elliott Churchville is the author of 19 published books on leadership development, a scholar-activist, educator, business and social change entrepreneur, attorney, and affordable housing developer. He is a Certified Speaker, Teacher, Trainer, DISC Behavioral Analysis Consultant and Coach at The Churchville Triad Group, LLC; Founder, President & CEO of Northwest CLT Corporation, a community land trust; and Managing Member, In-House Legal Counsel, LLC.
