Predatory practices involve deceptive and exploitative financial tactics that often target vulnerable individuals. Mike Morton, Bank of America's Community Lending Officer will educate participants on recognizing and avoiding predatory lending, high-interest loans, payday loans, aggressive debt collection, and financial scams. Attendees will learn key warning signs, consumer rights, and safer financial alternatives. The session will also provide resources for reporting unethical practices and seeking financial assistance. By the end of the workshop, participants will be equipped with the knowledge and tools to protect themselves and make informed financial decisions.
