Nonprofit Nerds Meetup: Nonprofit Job Hunting Boot Camp
Regional Foundation Center at Parkway Central Library
Looking to land a job in nonprofits, but not sure how to get your foot in the door? Need help writing a compelling resume and cover letter? Eager to ace the interview for the nonprofit job of your dreams? We can help with all of those steps in the job seeking process and MORE!
Join Nonprofit Nerds on Monday, October 16th for Nonprofit Job Hunting Bootcamp, an interactive session where you will meet with experts in networking, making an elevator pitch, resume and cover letter composition, interview skills, and post-interview etiquette for 10-minute consultations. Attendees will rotate to each expert until they've had a chance to receive tips and strategies for every step of the job hunting process.
Take your job hunt to the next level, and put your newly-acquired skills to good use at the Free Library's nonprofit job fair on Thursday, October 26th!
The Nonprofit Nerds Meetup is a bi-monthly meetup led by Marta Rusek and hosted by the Regional Foundation Center.
Online registration is required (due to the format this month's meetup has a limite on the number of attendees that can attend).
