Singing Walt Whitman: Songs from the Drinker Collection
Drinker Collection at Parkway Central Library
Celebrate Walt Whitman's 200th birthday with a free program of choral works set to and inspired by Whitman's poetry and drawn from the Free Library of Philadelphia's Drinker Collection of Choral Music.
Craft Works Music is your all natural, hand crafted, minimally processed music fix. Founded in Philadelphia in 2017, Craft Works develops, discusses, and performs music from all eras, genres, and cultures, mainly in the choral repertoire. The ensemble explores and collaborates with other musicians and experts about the process of crafting music and we share this via podcast and live events. More information at www.craftworksmusic.org.
This program in the Grand Lobby of Parkway Central is free and open to the public. For other Whitman Bicentennial events throughout Philadelphia, visit https://www.whitmanat200.org/.
