PRUDENTIAL LINES CARRIES CUSTOM CARS TO BRAZIL --- Three of seven customized show cars built by George Barris, Barris Custom Industries, are prepared for shipping in individual cargo containers aboard Prudential Lines' newest addition to its passenger/cargoliner fleet, the S.S. SANTA MAGDALENA. The autos, valued at $300,000, are destined for a two-week exhibit at the International Auto Show at the Palacio des Exposioes in Sao Paulo, Brazil, beginning Nov. 20. Cars, pictured from left, are the "De Francos Pizza Wagon," valued at $25,000; "The Bunkbed," valued at $25,000; and "The Bathtub," valued at $35,000. The autos are loaned from "Cars of the Stars" Motorama Exhibit at Movie Hall of Fame, Hollywood. Prudential's fleet of four passenger/cargoliners sails every 16 days from West Coast ports to South America, Central America, and the Caribbean.
