Notes:
50-foot tractor-trailer. Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The 50-foot long tractor-trailer, en route to the Aberdeen proving grounds from the plant of the Easton Car and construction company, attracted many spectators as it parked here. Said to be the largest ever built, the 12-foot wide vehicle was specially constructed to meet army demands for a trailer capable of handling 60-ton tanks. Special highway permits were required to drive the 25-ton vehicle to Maryland. December, 13th, 1946
