Seattle, Washington- This army pick-up truck which was declared surplus, was just purchased by these three veterans who are co-owners in an electrical applicances and sporting good stores. Their firm name is HAB concocted from their first-name initials. Bill Beach, who served as a 2nd lieutenant in the infantry as aerial observer before his reclassification as an air corps pilot, is at left; Arthur J. Louie served as an aviation radio technician and instructor in a radar beacon school for three years in the Navy, is wiping the windshield, and Howard F. Whims, A former chief store-keeper aboard the U.S.S. Maryland, is standing on the running board. March 5, 1946
