Camp on the African Veldt.  Voi, Tanganyika...en route to the mountains of the moon, the Gatti-Hallicrafters expedition makes camp on an open plain between Voi and Moshi, Tanganykia. The modern cars and trailers and mobile radio broadcasting station that make up the motor safari are in sharp contrast to the safaris of old. First real objective of the expedition is Mount Kilimanjaro. Africa's tallest mountain, which will be scaled by the expedition. March 12th, 1948.
