4/28/87. Governor Uses Pathfinder At Flag Raising.
In the picture, Governor James P. Goodrich is shown as he was leaving the new plant of the Kahn Tailoring Company after flag-raising dedication, in which he participated. The car used is a Pathfinder Touring Roadster, which conveyed the Governor and his party to and from the flag-raising, as part of a demonstration given by The Pathfinder Company, Indianapolis, Indiana. The Governor expressed himself as highly pleased with the easy riding qualities, luxurious appointments, beautiful appearance of the car and the smooth, quiet operation of its twelve cylinder engine. This trip, both ways, was accomplished in high gear without touching the shifting lever. The new exclusive features of Pathfinder construction, by means of which spare wheel, tires, tubes and top are housed in specially designed compartments, come in for a large share of the Governor's approbation. Those in the picture with the Governor are Medos Gravelle, Assistant Sales Manager, American Air Craft Co.; Chauffeur; James H. Mannigan, Supt. Kahn Tailoring Co.; Carl Mote; Aaron Wolfson. Senator of Indiana; and Herbert Peck, Vice President, Kahn Tailoring Company.
