Peoria, Ill.: Deputy W.R. Pasquay talks over the shooting of Ernie Shelton here today (7/26) with Shelton's bartender, Alex "Cotton" Ronitis. Shelton fell directly in front of the left front wheel of his Buick (see above) when an unknown gunman fired from the thicket behind the car.
