Buick's 1971 Estate Wagon features a unique concept in tailgate design with the glass retracting to rest horizontally inside the roof and the tailgate sliding downward into the underbody. Everything disappears out of the way. In addition to offering completely unobstructed entry to the cargo area, the wagon's cargo space has been increased to 106 cubic feet, up 16 last year.
