 Increased handling consistency, higher quality and greater reliability will result from Buick's development of several single unit chassis parts to replace multi-unit configurations. The steering knuckle will be cast with an integral steering arm and disc brake mounting bracket. The separate wheel hub and disc brake rotor will also be replaced by a single unit and a wide span lower control arm eliminates the need for a brake reaction rod.
