Buick's New Apollo Thin-Pillar Coupe fits the description of a compact in size and price, which it is, but it fully carries out the Buick image of quality, performance, class and luxury. It is shorter by 10-1/2 inches in overall length than the intermediate-sized Buick Century coupe, yet offers about the same ample interior dimensions. The Apollo's wheelbase at 111 inches is only an inch less than the Century coupe and the height at 52-1/2 inches is only an inch below the Century coupe.
