Buick's trim new Riviera for 1977 is about five inches shorter and more than 700 pounds lighter than its predecessor. More functional in design and more economical to operate, the Riviera features a pillared roof with a fixed rear side window and the door glass is fully framed. Four-wheel disc brakes are optional on the Riviera.
