Bakeracing Corvette-- The battle-scarred Bakeracing Corvette with Tommy Archer at the wheel motors into the final hour of the Escort 24-Hours of Mid-Ohio which they won, September 28. The overall victory was the fifth in six faces this season for Goodyear and locked up the 1986 SCCA/Escort Endurance Racing Championship for Bakeracing, the SCCA Manufacturer's Cup for Corvette, and the SportsCar Magazine Driving Championship for Bobby and Tommy Archer.
