Chevrolet's 1990 Lumina APV... is unlike any multi-purpose vehicle now on the market with an avante garde appearance, seating for up to seven, front-wheel-drive and the largest use of composites on a production vehicle. The Lumina APV also is a performer with a standard 3.1 liter V6 engine with electronic fuel injection, 3-speed automatic transmission with overdrive, an aggressive F41 suspension, power steering and power brakes. The Lumina APV, part of Chevrolet's lineup of three all-new family vehicles, was shown for the first time in January at the Detroit and Los Angeles auto shows and will appear in Chevrolet dealer showrooms in August 1989.
