CHRYSLER'S Huntsville, Alabama Electronic Plant now uses robots to assemble and test spark control engine computers for all of the automotive company's passenger cars, trucks, and vans. The Huntsville production operation includes 18 robots for loading and unloading components, and computerized vision systems with cameras for identifying up to 200 different part numbers. It is Chrysler's largest robotic installation outside the company's car assembly plants.
