New four speed manual transmission, designed specifically for the 1970 Dodge Challenger T/A, is standard equipment along with the 340 cubic-inch Six Pack powerplant. Gear teeth are close ratio—first, 2.47; second, 1.77; third, 1.34; fourth, 1.00—and are designed for easier, smoother shifting with a lower rpm drop between gears.
