THE CONTEMPORARY LOOK of the 1985 Dodge Lancer ES starts with aerodynamic styling that results in a coefficient drag of .37. The top of the door panels project into the roof concealing drain troughs. Door hinges are welded to the door and bolted to the frame for easy adjustment. The rear tail, stop, turn and backup lamps are in a sealed unit mounted outside the body to reduce water leaks into the cargo area.
