Connie Kalitta ranks as one of the sport’s biggest names following his sweep of Top Fuel Eliminator titles early in 1967 in his Ford-powered AA/Fuel Dragster. Kalitta started his string in the American Hot Rod and the NASZAR Championships. Kalitta’s rail is a Logghe chassis powered by a supercharged 427 single overhead cam engine. Association Winter Championships and followed up with triumphs in the National Hot Rod Association Winternationals
