John Kelly, an electronics engineer with a degree from MIT, has been driving Group 44 cars since 1968 and has won three SCCA national championships, the most recent in F Production with a Triumph Spitfire 1500.
Vertical frame: This is the British Leyland/Quaker State Triumph Spitfire 1500 in action. 1973 was the car's first year in competition and Group 44 driver John Kelly wheeled it to the class FP national championship.
