FULL CAPACITY – Beneath the distinctive, formal-looking rear deck of the 1979 LTD is Ford’s traditional deep-well trunk, offering a full 2.3 cubic feet of space – 0.7 cubic feet more than the 1978 model – with a new mini-spare available about November 1. There’s also plenty of usable space for the upright storage of grocery bags and suitcases. As in the past, the LTD combines the deep-well trunk with a low liftover design--an inch lower than on 1978 models—for easy loading and unloading. The Ford Landau, shown here, features bright moldings on the lower deck-lid panel and deluxe bumper guards.
