DREAM OF A CAR TAKES FORM – A General Motors stylist puts on paper the first concrete step in the design of a new automobile. This design, which represents combination of favorable features from numerous preliminary sketches, is of Buick’s “dream car” the Wildcat III. Next, engineers must design in detailed drawings a chassis which will include frame, engine, transmission, suspension system and other parts.
