GEO METRO FOR 1989 ….is the lowest-priced, most fuel-efficient model in the newly introduced Geo lineup. Three models of the Suzuki-produced subcompact are available – two hatchback coupes and a four-door hatchback sedan. Shown here is the up-level 2-door Geo Metro LSi version. All Geo Metros are four-passenger models that are being sold nationwide through selected Chevrolet dealerships. Powered by a 1.0 liter, 3-cylinder engine, Geo Metro is atop the EPA’s fuel economy list with an estimated 53 miles per gallon city/58 mpg highway when equipped with standard 5-speed transmission.
