Offering new features, refinements and beauty, the new 1950 Hudson Custom Commodore convertibles retain Hudson’s exclusive “step-down” design with recessed floor, which, with full road clearance, provides the most room, best ride and greatest safety of an American car. Hand-buffed red or blue leather upholstery, harmonizing leather grain trim and chrome fittings are features of the smartly tailored, roomy interior. Custom Commodore convertibles are available with a choice of 123 horsepower high-compression Super-Six or 128 horsepower high-compression Super-Eight engines. They have a wheelbase of 124 inches and are offered in 12 new Gem Lustre colors. Hudson convertibles also are available in the Super and Pacemaker series.
