V-8 POWER FOR JEEP – More power for off-road driving is available to 1972 model Jeep buyers. For the first time, enthusiasts can order the popular CJ-5 and CJ-6 for-wheel drive vehicles with a 304 CID V-8 engine. Power steering and power brakes also are offered for the first time on 1972 models. Standard engine is a 232 CID Six, with a 258 CID Six optional. Both are new to the series.
