Designed for ‘play’ as well as pay-loads, the Kaiser Vagabond is the eighth new Kaiser-Frazer model for 1949. The 112-horsepwoer automobile combines station wagon utility with luxurious styling features available only in deluxe sedans of conventional design. The pleated seat cushions and padded, chrome-trimmed door panels are of tough, washable vinyl plastic. With rear seat cushions folded, a 10-second operation, 130 cubic feet of multi-purpose cargo space is accessible through the two hinged panels. Cargo space is 10 feet long.
