The Parkway Central Children's Department is currently closed. Library patrons may place holds online and pickup materials by appointment. The Free Library is always open online. Go to freelibrary.org to browse our collections, place holds, and access digital media. Follow the Children's Department on social media for fun virtual programming, book suggestions, family activities, and more children's library content!

The Central Library Children's Department represents the largest collection of children's books and special materials in the Delaware Valley. Special collections and services include children's books in 55 languages and the Marilyn Klein Preschool Center featuring furniture specially designed for toddlers.
