Winner of the National Book Award for his first book, The House of Morgan: An American Banking Dynasty and the Rise of Modern Finance, Ron Chernow has been called in the New York Times "as elegant an architect of monumental histories as we've seen in decades." Chernow also authored national bestseller and National Book Critics Circle Award finalist Titan, a biography of John D. Rockefeller, Sr., and The Warburgs, winner of the Eccles Prize for the Best Business Book, 1993.
