Joyce Carol Oates, now the Roger S. Berlind Distinguished Professor of the
Humanities at Princeton University, has published more than 70 books of poetry, short stories, essays and literary criticism, including novels and plays. She has twice been nominated for the Nobel Prize in Literature, and has received both the O. Henry Short Story Prize (seventeen times) and the National Book Award. The Faith of a Writer is about the craft of writing, and Freaky Green Eyes is Oates' second novel for young adults. Appearance made possible by the Field Family Teen Author Series.
