Entry Level Job Fair 2006
The Workplace at the Free Library is sponsoring an Entry Level Job Fair to be held on Wednesday, April 5, 2006 from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. The event will take place at the Central Library at 1901 Vine St., Philadelphia, PA. More than 15 employers and job assistance agencies are expected to participate and recruit for such positions as sales, customer service, clerical, hospitality, home health aid, and more. The event is free and open to the public. Attendees should obtain tickets from the Workplace, bring copies of their resume, and wear business attire.
The Workplace is a resource center for adult job seekers or those who wish to explore different careers. Workplace services include public access computers for job search activities (such as preparing resumes, cover letters, and online job applications) as well as print materials, including books, magazines, and newspapers. Librarians are also available to present programs to groups from schools and agencies on topics related to careers and the job search process.
