The Free Library Hosts Free Testing on National HIV Testing Day
PHILADELPHIA, June 20, 2019—National HIV Testing Day encourages people to get tested for HIV, understand their status, and learn more about the care and treatment they need to stay healthy if HIV positive. This year, the Free Library is working with Drexel Medicine’s Partnership Comprehensive Care Practice Drexel University College of Medicine to host free testing at 10 locations on June 27.
National HIV Testing Day is coordinated by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). Together with the Free Library of Philadelphia, Congreso and One Day at a Time (ODAAT), Drexel's Partnership Comprehensive Care Practice will provide free, easy, and confidential HIV testing on National HIV Testing Day. No appointment is needed. The following Free Library of Philadelphia locations will be participating on June 27 to provide free HIV testing:
