PA CareerLink® has partnered with the Free Library since 2019 to provide in-person job seeker services at neighborhood libraries around Philadelphia. Although the pandemic disrupted those services, we are pleased to announce that PA CareerLink® community support is back at a library near you!
If you are looking for help with your job search, want to update your resume, or learn about other career training opportunities, Community Workforce Connectors can provide individualized support with:
- Welcome to PA CareerLink® Orientation
- Support with PA CareerLink® Registration
- One-on-One Resume Development and Support
- Career Counseling
- Relevant Skill and Professional Development Workshops
We reached out to Christopher Gibbs, Community WIOA Coordinator, for a comment about PA CareerLink® services:
"We are very excited to bring the PA CareerLink services, in person, to patrons of the Free Library of Philadelphia. We are here to ensure that Philadelphians return to work with the skills, training, and confidence they need to provide sustainable incomes for themselves and their families. Our staff are workforce professionals, and they are eager to help you find your next career pathway or help you get linked to services!"
Check out the Free Library Job Seekers Events Calendar to find out the next time a Community Workforce Connector will be at your neighborhood library!
