Greater Oleny Branch Debuts New Mural

By Shannon G RSS Mon, March 1, 2010

Greater Olney Branch recently received a facelift with the help of the Mural Arts Program and the North Fifth Street Revitalization Project. Together, the groups created a mural for building’s south wall, which faces Tabor Road. Entitled “Translations in Transit,” the mural installation also includes a matching bench for the #8 SEPTA bus—similar benches were positions on the Northeast and Southwest corners of the intersection at Fifth and Olney.

A special dedication will take place this spring—stay tuned for details!
