Mario Vargas Llosa Wins 2010 Nobel Prize in Literature

Announced today, Peruvian writer Mario Vargas Llosa has received the 2010 Nobel Prize in Literature. Praised for "his cartography of the structures of power and his trenchant images of the individual’s resistance, revolt and defeat" by the Swedish Academy, Llosa is one of the most celebrated writers of the Spanish-speaking world.
