Last night was a big night in the literary world -- the 2010 winners of the prestigious National Book Award were announced!

Fiction: Lord of Misrule by Jaimy Gordon

Nonfiction: Just Kids by Patti Smith

Poetry: Lighthead by Terrence Hayes

Young People's Literature: Mockingbird by Kathryn Erskine

Congratulations to the winners! We're especially excited to be hosting Patti Smith on December 8 as part of our Author Events series. Though auditorium seats are sold out, simulcast tickets are still available for purchase.
