At the Free Library, we’re really proud of our librarians. They guide, support, and inspire patrons on a daily basis. In a recent blog post, we shared some of the super efforts and awesome hard work our FLP librarians exert in order to encourage and assist each person that visits our branches.

Now it’s your chance to show your local librarian some love: Nominate them for the I Love My Librarian Award. The award recognizes the accomplishments of local librarians and celebrates the improvements they make in patrons’ lives. Up to 10 librarians will win $5,000, a plaque, and a stipend to travel to New York City to attend the official awards ceremony hosted by the New York Times.
