In honor of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.’s life and legacy, the Free Library has a host of events and activities across the branches to commemorate the inspiring work of the Civil Rights leader.

Events throughout the first two weeks of January include:

Stories and Craft, Monday, January 9, 4:00 p.m. | David Cohen Ogontz Branch
Everyone is invited to enjoy stories and make a take-home craft about the life of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.

Martin Luther King, Jr. Factfinders, Tuesday, January 10, 4:00 p.m. | Eastwick Branch
Use your research skills to find out facts about Martin Luther King, Jr.’s life throughout the week of January 9. Find out five facts about MLK using books, encyclopedia, and one library database!

An Afternoon with Martin Luther King, Jr., Saturday, January 14, 2:30 p.m. | Northeast Regional Library
Join us as we celebrate the life of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. with readings and crafts.
