Free Library Cooling Centers activated for July 6 and 7

Due to the ongoing heat wave, the following Free Library locations have been designated as cooling centers and will all remain open this evening until the hour indicated. In addition, the Lucien E. Blackwell West Philadelphia Regional Library will be open as a cooling center on Saturday, July 7 from 10:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m.

Free Library Cooling Center Locations for Friday, July 6:
Andorra – 8:00 p.m.
Falls of Schuylkill– 8:00 p.m.
Frankford—7:00 p.m.
Haddington—7:00 p.m.
Independence– 8:00 p.m.
Katharine Drexel— 8:00 p.m.
Logan– 8:00 p.m.
Lucien E Blackwell West Philadelphia Regional– 8:00 p.m.
McPherson Square—7:00 p.m.
South Philadelphia– 8:00 p.m.
Welsh Road– 8:00 p.m.
Wynnefield– 8:00 p.m.
Wyoming – 8:00 p.m.

Service Note: As a reminder, the Parkway Central Library and three regional libraries also operate Sunday hours from 1:00 – 5:00 p.m.
