Congratulations Philadelphia on reading 20 Million Minutes this Summer!

By Eileen O. RSS Thu, August 8, 2013

Way to go, Philly! The Free Library of Philadelphia is so proud to announce that we achieved our goal of collectively reading 20 million minutes this summer!  We met the goal yesterday, on August 7th and celebrated with Kate Bilo, meterologist from CBS 3, our President and Director Siobhan Reardon and our generous lead sponsors - AJ and Ivory from Wells Fargo as well as Monica and Chuck from Shechtman Marks Devor, PC.

There is still time to keep reading!  How much can we read, Philadelphia?  Don't forget that even though the Summer Reading Game in our neighborhood libraries ends on Friday, August 9th, you can keep logging your reviews and minutes online until August 31st for the chance to win some great prizes!

Thanks again to everyone who helped us reach our goal, from our tremendous readers to our lead sponsors Wells Fargo and Shechtman Marks Devor, PC.
