In Memoriam: Maya Angelou

Legendary poet and author Maya Angelou has passed away at age 86. Known for her poems, essays, memoirs, and biographies--including I Know Why the Caged Bird Sings--Angelou had a prolific creative career. She was also a director, actor, cook, and the first African American female cab car conductor in San Francisco. Her inspiring life and award-winning words will continue to enlighten generations.
