Downloading got you down? Overdrive driving you crazy?

Through our Digital Media portal and Online Catalog, we offer nearly 120,000 streaming or downloadable ebooks, more than 19,000 streaming or downloadable audiobooks, and more than 1,400 downloadable podcasts from our renowned Author Events Series. But we know these awesome figures will stay that way—as mere numbers—if you can’t successfully get them downloaded to your device.

This is why, beginning Thursday, October 1, you can contact us at the Free Library to get assistance with your downloadable media issues.

Types of issues we can help with:

  • Can’t find your Kindle title?
  • Can’t get the book on your Nook?
  • Don’t know how to get ebooks on your ipad?
  • And many more!

This helpline service will be available every Thursday from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m. Just call 215-686-5322 and we will have you downloading smoothly in no time.

And you can always email us 24/7—we will get back to you as soon as we can!

About to purchase a Nook Glowlight reader, for the sole purpose of downloading non-fiction books from the Library. When I first read of your new technology there was a line that read the user would need a "dedicated e-reader". Would this device suffice? I've had a library card since childhood. Will I need another? Will i have to bring my device to the Library to be "synced" somehow? As you can tell, this is my first e-reader device. Thanks for your help and patience.

I think I've locked my account because I entered a wrong PIN number too many times.

I suddenly find myself logged out of my account and when I enter my pin....it says it is wrong and has locked me out. Also I tried your sight to change my pin and supplied my library card number and was supposed to get an email to reset it. Never received the email. Who can help me with this? Thanks

I already sent an email but have not gotten a reply. I don't remember just how to get to the correct site for the ebooks. Your site looks different than the last time I logged in. Is there an app I could get that would take me more directly to the ebook site? I am on an iPad.
