Alohomora! The newest installment of the spectacularly popular Harry Potter series has just been released and it’s getting rave reviews from everyone who’s picked up a copy. Since it’s still summertime, we at the Free Library of Philadelphia are all rushing to get our hands on it too, and to log our reading time on the Online Summer Reading portal!
There are lots of other ways to celebrate Harry Potter this summer with the Free Library in addition to reading the new book:
- Watch one of the eight Harry Potter movies
- Listen to the music from the films
- Read one of the original books from the Harry Potter series (If you’re looking for a real challenge, try to get through all seven of the original books before Online Summer Reading ends!)

Remember – Online Summer Reading continues up until August 31st! Only then will we pick our grand prize raffle winner!
