Free Library Myth #2

We can all picture it—the "stereotypical" librarian image: an old woman with a bun and glasses, rocking an awesome cardigan! In reality, Free Library librarians are a diverse bunch, and they come from all different backgrounds with varied professional interests and areas of expertise.

That diversity is what allows us to offer so many different kinds of programs and services to our customers, with someone always suited for that particular task!

Our #FLPMyths social media series will attempt to dispel several library-related myths, and explain the truth behind these common misconceptions. Follow along on Facebook and Twitter over the next month, and of course, here on the blog!
