The Philadelphia Weekly put the Free Library's upcoming Richard Dawkins lecture (tomorrow at noon) in its A List lineup. Journalist Matt Prigge wrote, "In his recent book Why Darwin Matters: The Case Against Intelligent Design, Michael Shermer stresses the myriad ways evolutionary theory doesn't conflict with religion. Richard Dawkins says bollocks to that. The Oxford biologist (who, Intelligent Designer bless him, never tires of pointing out that we're all atheists about most other gods-atheists just go one god further) draws a line in the sand between faith and reason. And then heaps scorn on those like agnostics who won't cross over. The God Delusion -his first all-out atheist salvo after three decades of godless Darwinist tomes like The Blind Watchmaker-could've been titled Well, That About Wraps It up for God had Douglas Adams not gotten there first. Make sure to chase Dawkins' appearance with American Atheists spokesperson David Silverman's lecture 'Learn How to Debate Theology Like a Pro.'"
