Richard Dawkins Speaks to a Rapt Audience

By Emily RSS Fri, November 3, 2006
Yesterday's free afternoon lecture by Richard Dawkins was attended by a full house in the Montgomery Auditorium as well as overflow crowds watching the simulcast. He was introduced by Tony Auth, Pulitzer Prize-winning cartoonist for the Inky. Dawkins began by reading a few passages from his new book, The God Delusion, and then took questions from the audience. He proved to be a thoughtful speaker, addressing queries that both supported and challenged his stance with complete and witty answers.
