Free Spanish Literacy Classes for Adults!

Do you know a Spanish-speaking adult who wants to learn how to read and write? The Free Library of Philadelphia is offering free classes for adult Spanish speakers to learn how to read and write in Spanish. This free program called LEAMOS is currently being offered at Kensington Library, with on-site staff who can help students with the course. Students can complete the course as part of a group or individually with the help of a trained staff member.

¡Clases de Alfabetización Gratuitas Para Adultos!

¿Conoce a alguien que habla español y quiere aprender a leer y escribir?   La Biblioteca Pública de Filadelfia estará ofreciendo clases gratis para enseñar a los adultos a leer y escribir en español.  El curso se llama LEAMOS y estará ofreciendo en tres sucursales: Kensington. En éstas sucursales hay empleados que le brindarán ayuda para completar el curso. Los alumnos pueden completar el estudio como parte de un grupo o individualmente con la ayuda del tutor.

The library does offer excellent courses through their website for people to learn Spanish. Two options are Mango and Duolingo. Also, at least one branch (Rodriguez) hosts a Spanish conversation group.
