The Free Library publishes book recommendations and reviews of Children's books each month as part of its series, Highlights of Children's Books . New titles are examined and added to the Free Library's collections and our favorites are posted in "Highlights" each month. It is always a great place to look for that last minute gift idea for your favorite kids this winter!

Also, the Bulletin of the Center for Children's Books has posted its Guide to Gift Books online and it is now FREE to view. The Bulletin is a publication of the University of Illinois and is one of the leading publications reviewing new children's books.
