The Rare Book Department is presenting an exhibition, "Legacies: a Century of Philadelphia Collecting", in its main galleries, now through April 27, 2007. The exhibition features a selection of books and manuscripts from all of the 22 major collections of the departments at the Central Library. A daily tour of the Rare Book Department is conducted by staff every weekday at 11:00 a.m., and the Department will also be open for special Sunday hours on January 28 from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. for Library staff and the public.
