Pride Month is set to wrap up this week, and we’ve had so much fun celebrating with virtual events, book lists, and history lessons all throughout June (see what we’ve been up to here on the blog!). But we’ve got one more celebration planned, and we hope you’ll participate!

The Parkway Central Library Children’s Department invites you to join them for a virtual Free Library of Pride Dress-Up Day! All day on Tuesday, June 30, Free Library patrons and staff are invited to help us close out the celebration of Pride Month by dressing up from home! Wear your Free Library of Pride t-shirt, dress in rainbow colors, or decorate yourself with Philly Pride flags, Trans Pride flags, and/or other symbolism of LGBTQIAP+ Pride! Take a photo and post to social media using the hashtag #FreeLibraryofPride – we can’t wait to see you!

Join us for the remaining Pride Month events at the Free Library by browsing our calendar now! Looking for more resources to continue this important conversation? Head over to our LGBTQ+ resource page.

Happy Pride!
